New lead singer Brianna Sabatino and Drummer Diamond DeSilva have joined the band!
The Midnight Sound is a Saint Louis, Missouri based band. We are a mix of styles and influences all coming together in a great collaboration.
Sounds heralding back to the jam bands of the 60's and 70's, a bit of 90's grunge and punk and a hefty amount of heavy blues, and that's The Midnight Sound
Coming off of a long time band dissolving, lead guitar player Scott was looking for something new. Having posted on Craigslist/FB looking to start a heavy blues/stoner metal project, Scott stopped by bass player Misha's shop after posting and "The Project" was started. A few drummer tryouts later we had the foundation of the sound.
Keyboard player JP Snell joined up not long after seeing the CL post and added years behind the keyboard into the mix and rounded out the sound. Singer Brianna saved us after a false start with another singer and the stars have finally aligned with Diamond DeSilvia joining us on drums! Ironically, from Scott coming across Diamonds CL ad.
After the first time playing together there was no doubt that this one is going to be good - and it's about to be great! Stay tuned!

Brianna Sabatino
Brianna Sabatino is a seasoned vocalist whose sound blends the grit of rock with the soul of blues. A lifelong music lover, her passion for singing was sparked early on by her musician father, who inspired her to find her own voice and tell her story through song.
Offstage, she is a devoted wife and "boy mom", balancing family life with her artistic pursuits.
Misha Avrushenko
Bassist
Misha has spent more than three decades in the trenches of independent music. He has carved out a career rooted in punk energy, indie grit and relentless touring across the United States.
JP Snell
Keyboards
JP developed his performance skills working with several Rock, Jazz, R&B, and Cover bands in the Midwest. JP's gear covers vintage and modern keyboard sounds and opens up lots of avenues for everyone to play within. JP has created numerous YouTube videos of own compositions and is the bands resident Music Professor.
Diamond DeSilva
Drummer
Diamond is the newest addition to the band and has settled right in.

Scott Rhea
Guitarist
Scott brings a raw, heavy edge to The Midnight Sound's blend of styles.
Raised in a musical family, with both his father and 4 uncles and aunts playing guitar, Scott’s connection to the instrument runs deep. His playing channels flashes of Texas blues and the boundary-pushing spirit of classic rock, fused with the grit and weight of ’90s grunge and hard rock. Scott also actively performs around the STL area in a blues band, keeping his sound rooted in tradition while pushing The Midnight Sound into heavier territory.
